@wastrelperv none of those people are journalists. this is like excusing a guy who sneezed on your lungs while performing open heart surgery with "to be fair, nobody who isn't a surgeon would know what the hell they are doing..." providing useful information without too much bias is literally what a journalist's job is

@rampage222555 correction, it's where all the "game journos" like her go to talk to game devs that want to push "the message" and they all circle jerk each other pretending they are super fucking cool because they have insider access to awful people that nobody else cares about.

@andytlwang they honestly need to threaten a lawsuit for libel. they literally did not try to talk to anyone from the studio or conduct any good faith research, i think it would be a slam dunk case and they would likely pull the article immediately.

The irony of encouraging people to read her whole article while she tells bald-faced lies about what it contains is just too much. Maybe she edited it after publication, but that's assuming a lot of effort on her part. "Black Myth's online community?" What even is that? You're talking about a game that is likely to have already sold ten million copies. 2.3m players were tracked by Steam as playing the game at the same time. That is absolutely fucking massive, it's more than quadruple Helldivers 2 at its peak. She has no idea how large the net she is trying to cast is.
