Yes. He clearly wasn't talking about disabled people. Also, giving a wheelchair-bound person a ramp or an elevator isn't a fucking "advantage." It's allowing them to live their life slightly closer to the way non-disabled people do. I don't feel "advantaged" every time I have to ask a person for a paper copy of something written on a board because I can't read it due to my eye sight.

The fact that he isn't conservative is what makes terminally online obsessives so angry. He doesn't fit perfectly into a generic mold of their political opponents. That is extremely enraging to them because they can't use cookie cutter arguments or insults about thinking the Earth is only 6000 years old or being anti-woman because they are anti-abortion. These people are deathly allergic to discussing politics with anyone they disagree with in real life. They are either too scared to do it or too emotional for it to go anywhere meaningful. So they recede into an echo chamber and assume everyone else does the exact same.

@ Advantage implies relativity, or that someone has something that lets them do something better, or live their life easier, than someone else. The someone else being non-disabled people in this case. I would definitely not say that a disabled person is advantaged over me simply because they can go to the same floor of the same building I can.

@theWebWizrd For a ramp, you're talking about a one time cost. Think about how much garbage your taxes or even rent are used for. This is not even close to the bottom of that list -- or at least, I hope it's not.

It's pretty much explained by the image. The more extreme left/right you are, the more you resemble the other extremist viewpoint. IMO, this is mainly due to the Fascism/Communism conflict, because in reality Fascism was created by a former Marxist who realized people weren't going to internationally band together just because they're all poor. It's a theory that has rather limited application if you take the full scope of political belief into consideration
