  1. depends highly on the animal, we are social animals so we developed that tribalist mindset. most animals when they see another animal of the same kind are like "oh fuck oh shit i'm probably going to have to fight this guy for food or the right to have sex" we have that same kind of mentality but expanded to "our tribe is probably going to have to fight your tribe for food or the right to have sex (with all your women)"
