  2.  @fyiicheckforspies  It would have happened anyway. Asking Sony and Nintendo to compete independently with AMD and Nvidia to create GPUs only gets more ridiculous as time goes on. Once the graphics APIs are all unified, there's not much of a point in having a unique CPU architecture. The reason why consoles used to be the cutting edge in gaming was because nobody cared enough to make good gaming hardware for PCs.
