"How does this even happen?" The person who generated these used an engine that was trained with a model made up mostly of similar anime art. You can do it yourself using your own model if you have the patience and hardware (a good GPU). On the other hand, if it was trained on classical oil paintings, they'd probably look like Mona Lisas.

It isn't available unless you pay, but if you have the hardware you can freely install Stable Diffusion for yourself and train it on a model of lewd anime art.

Neural networks aren't tracing you massive idiot. Please know what you're talking about before you throw around accusations. Look up Stable Diffusion since you obviously know nothing about the technology driving that website.

It isn't "either steal, or learn." You fundamentally misunderstand how these applications work. They match patterns, conceptually, and then put an original image together based on those conceptual patterns. The work is derivative but that doesn't make it theft. There are thousands of artists out there making works just as uninspired and derivative, but you aren't going after them.

@okaydetar821 The weeb slope is one of constantly retreating gatekeeping. Nowadays anime is so mainstream that people will watch it regularly and say "I'm not a weeb/anime fan" because there's always some other grognard out there who knows Japanese and watches it unsubbed, or scoffs at you if you haven't read the manga/light novel, etc. On the other hand, KonoSuba is the type of show that would really only appeal to you if you are already an anime fan. The style of humor, character writing, and the fact that it is a parody of trashy isekai in general means that anyone who doesn't already enjoy anime probably won't have patience for it. And you'd have to have enjoyed isekai anime in particular, on top of that.

No, they're definitely AI. You can tell by some of the details, most notably the way the outfits are kinda unrefined and don't make sense (not even aesthetic sense).
