  2. Hey, that's awesome. Keep struggling. Life is about struggle and the small victories. I am visually disabled and it's stopped me from driving, but I have it relatively easy. I moved out from my parents' house at around the same time ride share apps gained huge amounts of traction.

  3.  @Pugofkin  Blindness is overcome on a regular basis. Do you really think all blind people just sit around being miserable sacks of shit? "Overcoming" something doesn't mean magically making it go away. The other side of the coin you're handing out is that blind people are infantile losers who can't do anything themselves. It's a veiled insult; it's patronizing.

  5. Negative attention can be therapeutic for some people but not always. They have to already have a sense of shame and know what they are doing is wrong. Usually, it's fat people who do absolutely nothing to change their lifestyle that get made fun of, not those who are at the gym or clearly trying to do something to change their situation.
