@ItsTheBibby An extremely condescending and Anglocentric attempt by mostly white and Jewish academics who are, at most, 1/8th Mexican or South American, to re-write the grammar of Spanish such that gendered language (as it relates to people) is eliminated.

@Emanance You don't talk to enough Christians. I am quite conservative, but not Christian, and all it takes is browsing any news channel comment section. Especially regarding any subject that involves violence or death; i.e. "They'll let murderers out on the street on bail and they support abortion. The Demoncrats are the party of death!" I get finding abortion distasteful, what I don't get is not providing an out for a woman who was sexually assaulted (like Texas; they only have an out for health of the mother, and apparently, doctors are afraid to allow it because the medical board keeps shifting the goal posts on what constitutes a danger to the health of the mother). Forcing someone to bring their rape baby to term is frankly, ridiculous, and probably a net negative for society as a whole.

@coreyhughes1456 There is something to be said for already being a billionaire when appointed in to office. Depending on the temperament of the person in question, they might actually be incorruptible -- hard to care about fancy dinners and nice cars when you, uh, already have all that stuff. Of course, some people are unendingly greedy, namely investment bankers, but most career politicians are hilariously easy to bribe because it's how they make most of their money. This is basically the reason why Trump was elected in the first place. Why would a man who has it all run for president? Certainly not to receive more bribes. The main concern is turning it into a good ol' boys club where he's there purely to help out his billionaire friends. However, that's business as usual -- you're going to get that with a career politician anyway, because those billionaires also funded his campaign. So ideally, you would want an unpopular billionaire. Which is exactly what they turned Trump into.
