  1. IIRC, she was designed by a (maybe former) Sanrio artist (same people who made Hello Kitty). Hello Kitty has huge amounts of R34. People were going to do this, if for no other reason than because they're childishly edgy and think they're "sticking it" to the Pope. Stating that "Bad people exist, so we should never have nice things" is a great way to enforce misery upon yourself.
