It's really hard to take it seriously based on what I've seen honestly. The representations of the ideologies in the game are extremely disingenuous so any commentary it might have had on society falls flat due to the designers' blatant bias.

@IchbinX Yeah... it's also extremely biased so any satire it has kinda falls flat.

@hazukichanx408 Well, let's consider the alternative to how I approach playing video games. I could distrust my friends and all the very involved discussion and screenshots I've seen on the game because some random guy on YouTube told me that "actually it's good." Or I could distrust you, a total stranger. I only have so much time in my life, you know.

@knavenformed9436 No I haven't because I don't have infinite time and I have to judge whether or not I want to play a game. I could be wrong, but such is life. I feel that I have devoted enough time to determining whether or not the game is good; more than I devote to most games that I haven't played.

@00ABBITT00 The irony in your comment is thick enough to support my 200 pound ass.

@Altmer353 The designers are Marxist, from what I've researched. I apologize, but that is enough to scare me away from playing a game about political satire. I would have the same reaction if the game were designed by the CCP, or Nazis, or any other authoritarian ideology. It simply does not bode well if you are an extremist trying to write political satire.

Because she's not really out to "save humanity." I thought that was clear from the story. She's using humanity as a pawn to take over Sanctuary. It's not a particularly good story but "WHY DO WE KILL LILITH" is a dumb question since it is mentioned explicitly in the story.

Computer scientists are the reason that we have white papers written about how AIs should be designed from decades prior long before we had the capacity to actually build them.
