@aligmal5031 It's genuinely not a good idea. I'm not going to make assumptions about your life but everyone has flaws they won't admit to or even know about. The reason being is that if you fuck up and go astray, the chance that you will actually take your parent seriously when they try to correct you -- assuming they have the gall to do anything at all in such a relationship -- is next to zero.

@aligmal5031 A sibling usually has no authority over you, therefore there can be no consequences for something you've done wrong. Either the analogy isn't very good to begin with, or you grew up with very lenient parents. As they say, you don't know what you don't know, and sometimes a parent's job involves teaching a kid that through something they think is punishment. Especially if the parent isn't that good at communicating to begin with, which some people just aren't.
