@adreanmarantz2103 I would say the opposite actually, Star Wars only appears B grade now because it was so influential at the time that every movie has used its film making techniques. Sure, the plot was basic, but plots don't always have to be complicated for a movie to be good. The rest of the movie making techniques were top notch for the time

@Voeris1 it's bad in context, no truly good person would call themselves "good" because good and evil are hard concepts to define and meaningless in the grand scheme of things anyway. no one would say "I'm evil" either. plus good people are acutely aware of their sins and therefore hesitant to call themselves some kind of saint

Kinda funny when you realize that the GoT TV series was very different from the books, but I understand it was done with his blessing

@adreanmarantz2103 That's because it was less derivative. Lazy, derivative writing tends to throw plausibility out of the window in favor of recognizable characters and set pieces. That's why they destroyed yet another death star in episode 7.
