@rykehuss3435 Based on what valuation exactly? How are you seriously still valuing games based on "oooh shiny model big polycount much money spend wow so cool" when they're obviously broken and unfun

They're there to check a box. QA testers definitely produce reports about issues like this, but they are intentionally ignored. Nobody wants to spend the time or money fixing this when they can usually make the money anyway.

@rykehuss3435 I am playing the game currently so I don't know how long it is but I've seen people say it took them over 10 hours to beat. That is quite long for a linear shooter. I don't know what you're expecting from the genre if you think that's not enough for a discounted price. Half-Life is a full priced game with similar length, but it has multiplayer added on. I feel like less than half the price of Half-Life, using that valuation, is more than fair.

@peronafanman The hate/controversy you're referring to was forgotten very quickly when it was new and relevant. Then, suddenly, when a AAA game was being made that looked like it might be fun, activists come out of the woodwork reminding everyone about what Rowling said about trans people at ten times the volume. It was very obviously manufactured by a small minority.

Brazil has absurd tariffs on games. I don't blame anyone in Brazil for pirating games.

Don't worry. Germany has plenty of good games in its repertoire.

@CharityDiary I'm honestly amazed at how you fail to realize how self-contradictory your own post is. The fact that good games like DRG exist and are made by a small team means it isn't "the developers." Who hires developers at big companies? The management. You think they hire "bad developers" on accident? No, you clown. They do it on purpose because they lay them off after every project and hire fresh college graduates. They never have to promote anyone and pay them more money. It is entirely the fault of management. They have deliberately created a terrible working environment where no self-respecting developer would work, and intentionally refuse to retain any developers who gain talent or experience. Talented workers demand more pay, and people keep buying games made by untalented people. Management isn't forced to hire bad developers.

@BerryNice1996 Average game developer skills don't need to be good. Games are dictated almost entirely by shareholders at these companies. It does not matter how talented or creative the developer is because they have no say in the game. Why hire someone talented? Why retain developers who gain experience?

How could you say something so offensive and inaccurate! It's obviously the Hell Knight, because they're pale skinned.
