@Chugargonfan Yes. Being racist is normal outside of the US and Europe.

@Chugargonfan What a bizarre nitpick.

@J4zzhandss It was not kosher for a "professional" event. However, an event where everyone is encouraged to get drunk, complete with frathouse style shenanigans like passing around a breathalyzer, is in no way professional.

@Jdjdjdujakzgsha Spoken like someone who has never had a friend that suffers from addiction. I hope you never have to be in that position.

@Jdjdjdujakzgsha You know, for some reason, I get the impression that you don't fall on the same side of the coin when it comes to women getting drunk and then sleeping with men and regretting it...

I've known a guy that has shown their dick to people at a party multiple times while drunk, pissed off of balconies, run into soccer fields in the middle of a game, etc. I think he works at NASA now. Hope that past doesn't catch up with him

@newframe6937 "He should have known" is not a fucking argument dude. I'm sorry you have never met someone who has mental illness. Here's a story for you, my friend's girlfriend bought her own farm, metaphorically speaking, and I am part of that because she texted me to ask if he was home and I told him no, he is gone for the weekend. She went to his place, opened the door with a spare key, and then got his gun and did the rest. After that he told me she had been struggling with schizophrenia. I literally had no idea. She lied to him too, because she told him she was getting help and getting better. People are capable of hiding their true selves and it's amazing that you don't know this.

@breesy6383 Everyone has to be racist, by the definition of those with institutional power, because their political allies are. If not then we will lose because the "non-racists" don't look out for interests of those that share their racial identity. It's sad, but that's politics.

@breesy6383 You didn't even read what I posted, so why reply?

@JaM-c8n I mean on any given issue that involves the use of identity politics as a sledgehammer to galvanize people who otherwise would never care about said issue. For example, most women in the US have not and will never have an abortion. But some of them think that they might need it "just in case" they decide to lose all inhibitions or something. Instead of asking what type of person willingly progresses to the point where they suddenly need an abortion, given all the contraception available, it's presupposed to be a right that must be defended based on identity.

@LightCrib2 Total mischaracerization of my argument. All I did was subvert your expectation of the definition of racist. It's at its core, a semantic argument. "It's happening, and we have no choice but to also engage" is more fitting. Nowhere did I imply that it was good.
