When you're not panicking it's really important to do some cardio. It will reduce your anxiety. I know this is Asmon so he will likely not do it, but I too am a giant nerd who plays games, watches anime, etc and I was able to do it. Having a single panic attack was a great motivator to do so although I did not go to the ER. I walked like 2 miles to a restaurant and ate there while saying very little to the waitress and left her a huge tip, for some reason I felt like doing that.

@tyco1649 Sounds to me like his mom was suicidal. But I know next to nothing of the situation, you simply undermined your own point by describing the situation.
