  1. How is wasting someone's entire life in prison, while they bleed taxpayers dry, more justified than killing that same person? I will never understand death penalty opponents who advocate for life in prison.

  2. There is no answer. His best course of action is not to think about it. His son may as well have been killed by lightning or a wild animal for all the rationality in the killer's mind.
