  2. "It's OK to be white" is a chicken and egg problem. The statement is not an inherently racist or overtly inflammatory statement. It was taken as such because it was originally posted on university campuses where radicalized young people could see it. They took it as an affront to their beliefs, which was the whole point of posting it to begin with. It was not to troll anyone except for those who are already radicalized by revealing their absurd reaction. You cannot simply "give away" innocuous phrases and gestures (like the "OK" hand sign) to people you hate just because you see them do it once or twice. Otherwise you will soon find yourself having to invent a new language. The nonsensical stigma for this phrase is best demonstrated in the poll posted here, where 76% acknowledge black people can be racist, but only just above 50% of them think it is "OK to be white." Hence there's roughly a quarter of black people who answered this poll totally unaware of the fact that their own racism tainted their answer to the other question. To put it in a shorter way: If you think you are being "trolled" by "It's OK to be white," or you are offended by it, you are either a racist or a paranoid schizo who sees domestic terrorism in every corner (aka a radicalized authoritarian).
