Comments by "Crazy Eyes" (@CrizzyEyes) on "Texas Teen Fights For His Life After Being Shot By San Antonio Officer In McDonald's Lot" video.
@Platonic Rainy No, he was clearly backing out and that's what set the officer off to start shooting, you can tell he was backing out of the spot first which was what caused the cop to swear and draw his gun. That was also where the assault charge which was dropped came from. It wasn't a justified shooting at all, but he was clearly backing out first. This is what happens when you jump into a situation with the mindset of this is automatically a life or death situation. The cop was going to put him in cuffs no matter what, and the kid thought this was some kind of ambush.

@DillyTheWillyWilliams I would absolutely be terrified and my decision making would hinge on less than a half second of me asking my lizard brain "Is this guy a real cop or a fake cop trying to rob me, or worse?" I can't blame anyone for making either decision in the heat of the moment. This is why you don't escalate immediately as a cop unless you're actually threatened. The cop's behavior defied any reasonable expectation of how a cop would act, especially when you factor in that he didn't have the right person or vehicle. The guy thought he was an impersonator.

@dontmindme8941 You don't do yourself any services for a position by lying about what happened, it only serves to undermine you if someone disagrees with your point. Nobody needs to lie about what happened by saying that the guy didn't back up first. What actually happened is already bad enough to throw the cop in jail as we can now see from what he's been charged with.

@axeamaniac4490 Imagine filing a warrant for someone's arrest because he didn't threaten anyone's life instead of immediately emptying a magazine on him for a crime you don't even know that he committed
