@SaundersYT Ah yes the classic "modern Japanese people who never committed any war crimes haven't apologized hard enough for things that their ancestors did." Guilt, guilt, guilt, shame shame shame. Every young person should be made to feel ashamed for crimes they never committed.

@teddyroosevelt79 Discrediting the parts of the story that were actually true isn't going to help people understand the parts that obviously weren't. You are shooting yourself in the foot here and making yourself look like "a typical revisionist."

Sam Bankman-Zelensky By all accounts that part of the story is most definitely true, actually, even if you believe the "gas showers" were not real. The Germans kept those camps running until they were forced to abandon them as the front lines moved forward. Their infrastructure was destroyed by mass Allied bombing campaigns so they could not afford to feed the inmates properly. They were petri dishes of disease especially typhus, something that was in a serious pandemic at the time. One that makes COVID look like a joke in fact. Many camp inmates starved and suffered from consumption even before the German camp guards left them and threw away their keys.
