@Robert-ey9xh It is the rise of online dating, too many women have, since a young age, believed they could have "any man" because their perceived dating pool is the whole internet. "The perfect is the enemy of the good" applies strongly here. The same principle just doesn't apply to men; most of their minds don't work that way and if theirs does, we consider them a narcissist.

@zerotodona1495 It's really not, at least not for me. I am an avid user of explicit material, but when I meet a woman I'm interested in, I stop immediately. It is as if my brain reminds me what I'm really here for and I lose all desire to use pornography. The problem is that such women only come around very, very rarely for me. I don't have high standards for looks or anything like that; in fact, based on an informal "study" me and my friends did for fun in college based on a selection of 100 (non explicit) model photos, I have lower standards than most men.

If real pr0n disappeared tomorrow, I'd just use swimsuit photos or something. You'd have to turn this nation into Saudi Arabia and clothe every woman in a burka to stand any chance of stopping that urge. And even then, you'd have smut artists to deal with (2D stuff).
