I bought my safety razor from an independent wood crafter (my old boss) and have been using it for 8 or so years.

@victormontes7007 a quick google search would confirm that yes, it is in fact possible to not pay $20 for 5 razor blades.

@worldzealot I'm just saying you can buy 100 double edged razor blades for $7 or so. The quality doesn't matter particularly because all the weight of that razor falls on the one blade. It cuts very smoothly. I tried to go back to the 4-bladed razors after some time using a safety and it felt like a cat scratch.

@worldzealot Can't speak to that. Shaving cream is meh, but there are many lotions out there to use which I prefer.
