Because an intern spent a week making a dialogue box in the character creator that literally has no impact on the game at all and they knew it would kick up a giant controversy that would sell their game for them. Starfield is the biggest Bethesda launch to date. It's pathetic how weak willed people are, across the entire spectrum of society.

  2. I'm not going to buy the game because it's a glorified looter shooter even dumber than Fallout 4. I don't understand how people have played any Bethesda game since Skyrim at the latest. Even Skyrim is a boring repetitive slog.
