Comments by "Crazy Eyes" (@CrizzyEyes) on "Alec Baldwin Just CHARGED With MANSLAUGHTER! Faces Prison Time For Rust Movie Incident!" video.
@Xeldinn He had no reason to shoot the gun. There was no reason to point it at a non-performer. There was no reason to shoot it at that particular time because the cameras weren't rolling. The dude literally thinks blanks are a toy (they aren't, that's still a fireball and hot gas particles with point-blank range). He is a fucking menace no matter how you slice it. The only toy gun I've ever seen that has legitimately safe blanks are those pop-cap guns made from plastic which had a closed orange-tip barrel and were fun because they blew up a small firecracker when you pulled the trigger.

"Guns don't kill people. Some random person who leaves the gun on a table and doesn't expect anyone to touch it does."

You have two options. Choose wisely. 1. Actors are children in adult bodies who are incapable of agency. Every thing an actor does, some handler, agent, or manager will be liable for. The armorer is somehow responsible for Baldwin's shot, even though she couldn't have possibly known that Baldwin would randomly shoot a non-performer when the cameras aren't rolling. Tough luck; he's got the mind of a child and isn't responsible for himself. 2. Actors, like everyone else in the entire fucking world, are responsible for pulling the trigger of a gun without knowing what is loaded. Let alone doing it when the cameras aren't rolling, at someone who is not even a performer in the scene.

@Agitated_Hamster And you're advocating that dumbasses should still be allowed to drive cars recklessly? Just trying to make your position clear here.

@vexile1239 It wasn't the armorer's fault that Baldwin picked up a gun of completely unknown status, pointed at someone who was not involved in the scene while the cameras weren't rolling, and fired it. Then lied about it. If any other person committed gun safety violations of this magnitude, they would have been behind bars for the last 2 years since they committed the act. It would be like if I picked up a gun at a local target range, shot you with it (standing in the lane next to me, not in front of the targets) and said "Oops, I thought it wasn't loaded."

@mvpd88 What a deep and insightful rebuttal.

@mvpd88 Seems like you're the one here seeking attention with that vacuous reply.
