@Holy_Crusader Apparently, I am not allowed to divulge my actual opinions, despite not using any offensive language. My masters have thought better of it for me. I'll try to be more brief and maybe my comment won't get removed. Suffice to say that abstaining from voting is completely pointless. No one will pay attention to the fact that you didn't vote, except maybe to assume that you would have voted Democrat if you're black or hispanic. If you think voting doesn't really make a difference, then you may as well vote anyway. It takes a half hour at most, and that's if you go in person; now we have mail-in voting so there's hardly an excuse not to vote. I am jaded, so this is the position I hold. But logically speaking, then I would be a tremendous idiot if I were wrong, and voting did make a difference, yet I threw away my one chance to have agency in this nation's proceedings. All to save less than a half hour once every 4 years.
