@muggy87 Shooting drones is not unlike shooting birds. Nobody uses a weapon like this to shoot birds. If drones are that big of a problem, it makes total sense to have one guy dedicated to drone defense with a weapon that's actually good at hitting them, instead of a squad of guys with shitty weapons that won't do shit. The latter will definitely make the manufacturer more money though.

This is literally a flare gun repurposed to shoot at drones... allegedly, according to the manufacturer. It's marketing hype nonsense. The only advantage is that this could be produced cheaply, but everyday shotguns like the Remington 870 or that one Russian shotgun that beginners use to get their gun licenses have many, many factories already set up to produce them at less than $300.
