@goblin6587 Your reaction to this non-problem actually perpetuates the beliefs of the people you claim to hate. No one was thinking about Nazis or "The Jewish Question" except you. The problem is entirely within your own head and the few people who are obsessed with sensationalist politics. There is a stark difference between not repeating the mistakes of history and obsessing over the minutiae of dead dictators.

@horusfalcon They're two sides of the same coin. Mussolini was a Marxist who realized the ideology wouldn't work after a global revolution failed to materialize at the end of WW1. So he added nationalism to it, realizing that the idea of people across the world identifying together solely on the basis of class was stupid.

@javierflores09 These people contribute in their spare time, because they want to. Dealing with HR when you're not even on the clock is not acceptable. Keep yourself grounded and remember who you're dealing with: volunteers.

@juangalton999 Every society needs the ability to exclude people who break its social contract, otherwise it would not be a society at all. These people believe in authoritarianism, which is at odds with most Western social contracts. Real "tolerance" is a myth, at least when it comes to ideology. You are falsely equating banning others on the basis of ideas and words (what happened to Tomazos) with banning others on the basis of crimes they have committed, that crime being the former which is a breach of free speech. You are against censorship, but ironically, state that we should not "censor" or ban censorship advocates, because surely that would make us hypocrites and nothing will go wrong even though it already has.

@javierflores09 You're not seeing the bigger picture. These sorts of control freaks exercise their power in increments. Andrew simply saw the pattern of behavior as it was starting, because it has happened so many times in other organizations already, and you're sitting in the dark wondering why he couldn't just change his title. It never stops at just the one thing. Dealing with this nonsense every time you contribute leads to burnout no matter how you slice it. Again, these people contribute BECAUSE THEY WANT TO. If you make it arduous, they will leave.

@ghostD0C Governments do not have sacred power or the ability to bestow rights. At any time, a policeman could show up and demand to be let inside your home unwarranted. It has happened quite a few times here in the US, mostly because of mistaken address. Is it illegal? Sure, but he has a gun and shooting him would involve you in a messy trial, so what are you going to do? We are no more civilized than our social contracts that we agree to. If you agree to be ruled by tyrants, in your spare time and of your own free will, well I don't know what to call you except uncivilized. Or perhaps a sexual fetishist.
