  2. Consider for a moment that you simply didn't notice the American tourists that weren't loud. But yeah, as an American, even I get annoyed at how loud many locals I know will talk to each other, especially at parties. It's as if people get into a shouting match trying to be heard over one another, except its the whole party at once, and people act like it's normal. Drives me up the fucking wall, I tend to hang out outside or in a different room if I'm at a party for that reason.
