@I C The director of KH ruined FF7s story in the remake with totally unnecessary time machine shenanigans and nonsensical plot points brought up earlier in the timeline that clearly expect you to have played the original game even though they marketed it as the story of FF7 for a new generation. It was confused and made no sense.

@jaire kambui Martin only worked on the worldbuilding stage of the game. He was done like 2 years before the game even released. Basically he had some brainstorming sessions with Miyazaki, they slapped his name on the marketing to sell more games and that was it. It is for all intents and purposes a Japanese game.

Nah Square's executive branch has been absolutely moronic for the past several years. There's no mistaking it. Remember when they blamed all their problems on their Western studios and then sold them off for a hilariously undervalued $300 million? Yeah.
