@ghostlyhousehorrors German is indeed gendered. "Germanx" would have the same problem that Latinx does, which is that calling someone by a neuter article or pronoun is akin to calling someone an "it." It is offensive because it dehumanizes them.

The hilarious thing is that there are animations where people get impaled but there's no blood so it's "fine." I really have no idea what these people are smoking or what their idea of appropriate content is.

@CeilingCatlol Who are the people who really need to touch grass? The ones who realize that people and characters are nuanced, or the people who screech on Twitter until they've convinced themselves that people really do behave like the caricatures they imagined?

@Synthetic-Rabbit Much longer than that. IGN was the butt of the joke among enthusiasts as long as I can remember, which is the 2000s at latest. The paid reviews weren't quite this egregious, but they were still obviously there.

@asimhussain8716 GRRM only stepped in for worldbuilding and left early in development. He had nothing to do with dialogue or VA and it was about on par with prior Souls games anyway. His involvement in the game is, in actuality, barely even perceptible.
