@TheGigaTop Wait. If you are in this situation and the guy didn't already shoot you, he's probably not going to kill you unless you startle him. Even if he is a junkie. If you have techniques to apply, wait to apply them until he is distracted. The rest is practice and training so you can apply them without thinking about it. In reality though this particular scene would probably never happen, there's no reason for anyone with a gun to get this close to you. They could always be stupid or not in their right mind, but even then it's not likely. If you watch a lot of police/security footage, this almost never happens.

@aayushpandey6839 What about striking when the guy isn't pointing a gun at you and looking at you? That ever cross your mind? To be fair, there are techniques for dealing with a person who is pointing a gun at you when you are not armed. They were developed at least as far back as WW2 for the British SAS. However that is a completely different situation, and it was a different time where doctrine wasn't the same.

As someone with even just a cursory knowledge of martial arts, self defense and gun usage, this guy is quite possibly the biggest asshat I've ever seen and the fact that he publishes <30 second clips telling you how "not to get shot when a guy is pointing a gun directly at your chest" scares me. I am afraid for the people who do take him seriously. Why doesn't he just give the most basic useful advice in that situation? Wait your turn. If the guy was there to kill you, he would have shot you by now. If not, then he's probably there for a kidnapping or a robbery. There will be a point in which he isn't shoving the gun barrel into your chest, or is at least looking away. I guess he is successful because he entertains the fantasies of randoms who think they can be invincible.

@jasonarreguin1047 I think the "real" reason is that he wished for immortality or something to that effect. It's supposed to reflect his villainous personality.
