@paraplegicnecromancer4180 If you think that hating on Asian culture from the outside is going to change anything, you are completely idiotic. Japanese people especially would laugh heartily at you. Imagine if someone who eats Japanese street food someone started criticizing your eating habits, you wouldn't take it seriously at all. That's exactly how it will go for you.

@eleseussellanra7036 Not all Asian cultures are the same, bruh. Japanese people respect animal life quite highly compared to mainland Asian cultures, actually, so I'm confused why you and the other guy brought them up since it kinda undermines your point. You can eat animals while still respecting the fact that they died to give you nourishment. This is what almost all ancient hunter-gatherer culture was about because people used to be thankful when they got to eat meat. Oh and by the way don't forget that we in the west boil lobsters and crawfish alive, too. Sadly seafood is best eaten as fresh as possible, it's not the same thing as red meat, pork or poultry, so there is a real benefit to doing this. It's not considered safe at all to cook shellfish like these which are dead before you purchase them. As long as you respect the animal and don't literally put a live octopus head in your mouth and then mug for the camera like a fucking toddler in a high chair eating spaghetti with his hands then I don't really have a huge issue with it.
