@calvinhobbes6118 I believe it's more than that, something like 23 or 24. If the police don't like you, they can fabricate a new charge at the end of that, and hold you for the same period again.

@eurobeat_enjoyer Ah yes the horrible white people stereotypes like eating cheese and being successful. The thing about profiling is, it's a lot more about dress and demeanor than race. The problem is, certain executives made sure to market music glorifying crime to a certain racial group in the late 80's and 90's. So now it's become cool to dress and act like a criminal, even if you aren't one. So yes, profiling is now less accurate than ever...

Guarantee you that kid has been punished worse for less, and now that her mom breaks her rules, she'll never have an obedient child again.

@SergeantExtreme There are a couple... and they're quickly learning what they're about... look up "Johnny Somali"

@assassin8636 It is very nice to visit. Not so great if you actually live there, especially if you aren't Japanese. But they're certainly way ahead of us in crime, even when people try to use the ephemeral "but they had some sex crimes that one time." Yeah, and we have way more... I still don't understand what the point of that argument is. Japan is shocked when they have a couple dozen murders in a year. That's a weekend in Chicago, and I'm not exaggerating.

@nureauamerica Mental health is a real thing, too... I'm sorry but you sound like a dreadful stick-in-the-mud. Try to find the value in intangible things and don't be such a robot. It isn't about the candy but the act of giving. It isn't about the value of the costume but showing the costume to other people, complimenting them and receiving compliments.

... "only?" I've never had a cell phone stolen ever, US or otherwise.

@egmjag That's insane to imagine. I can't say I agree with the attitude some cultures have towards the elderly. They deserve respect from those who know them, sure, but that just goes too far.

Nice that you found it, but weird they didn't take it to the police. They handle lost and found from what I understand

Uh, they don't steal the oil to put in the cars... You'll figure it out.

@assassin8636 Just look at which nations have representation in the WEF.

@aquapuppy9838 If there's a rule like "please take one," and you break it, it's theft. Lack of security does not equal free loot. That is caveman-tier despotist thinking.

@jdunk6058 It's okay, you'll grow up eventually sweetie
1
@jdunk6058 Aww, he thinks he's grown up. Sorry sweetheart, you already admitted to vandalizing the property of strangers because you didn't get your candy.
1
@LeoBeastmode I'm sure you support the egging of houses that have no candy left to give too. "trick" or treat, just a bit of mischief, right? Hmm, I wonder what could have caused all the candy to be gone? It couldn't possibly have been another idiot like yourself who took all the candy before you, could it?
1
@LeoBeastmode You... you do realize some people have to work on Halloween, and they also have their own kids to take care of. Right? Fuck me, it's hard to imagine being this close-minded...

@16m49x3 then why did you use the royal "we" in the context of an American video?

@noneofyourbusiness43 Mexico and Latin America aside, most immigrants who come here are actually the cream of the crop of their nation. Especially India, Africa and other such nations. It isn't like tribal starving children from the Congo can afford a plane ticket. My point is, we should be dealing with our own native population born into this attitude first -- that's actually a bigger issue. Again, the Mexican border set aside. That also needs to be dealt with.
