@jgg204 Take your meds, Grandpa.

@skylercook1812 Sadly it still happens all the time even in this state. I've had stray or runaway dogs walk up to me at least three times while walking my dog, and my parents have sheltered abandoned dogs while trying to find a new home for them many times. One of their neighbors moved away and left a dog in their yard a few weeks before Thanksgiving.

No thanks, Mr. Federal Agent.

@terryowen6759 Don't think so. This is typical behavior for cartel or gang members from South of the border.

@robertgrays8790 rental landlord rights don't include rights over all of your property, genius

@RedtheTiger1851 They assigned a paralegal to this case? American Airlines getting in trouble for one of their employees recording CP? Seems unlikely.
6
@ssbf1095 They do, actually, because they are primarily cowards and they know they have no clout.
5
@KayDejaVu Oh so you get threatened by a flash mob of keyboard warriors every day? Lmao. Edge lord

@bax2603 It baffles me as well. Best I can guess is that there are too many ignorant people who get a pet because their friends have one, or because it is popular here, and realize that they are not made for it, at all. Then they're too lazy to find a new home for it.

@Anthony-vh6ef You expect other people to save you when your life is in danger? How ridiculous.
3
@Ninja563 Why am I not surprised she still tried to play the victim and even less surprised there was an article about it? Yes, I'm sure a random attorney and Shaun King all conspired to ruin her life by framing her as a false rape accuser. This makes the moon landing hoax theory and flat earthers look reasonable.

@DonJuan-oy7lo You do realize that the Constitution was originally drafted without the Bill of Rights, then the rest of Congress and the governors got very angry that they were not spelled out so they were amended in? And yet you're seriously going to suggest that they aren't "rights" or important?

@sandiladhikari6305 Nice non sequitur, try posting it in a thread where it is relevant

The guns were likely at the home. Namely the long gun.

@OB.x "it isn't the polices job to catch crooks, it's the stores" bruh

@boofert.washington2499 Uhh.... if the Latino is a member of La Raza, sure.
2
@jc71480 Everything that you just said is completely irrelevant to the issue of whether or not the Mexican government was somehow in cahoots with the Nazi regime during WW2.

Not that I feel pity for the guy, but throwing someone in jail and then imposing fines on them is usually a counter-productive practice. He doesn't strike me as the type of guy to have a lot of money saved up.

Dogs' character judging skills vary. My dog is overly protective and will pick and choose people that she likes very arbitrarily. She seems to be afraid of tall people. She will come to like them if she spends enough time with them, regardless.

He made the decision to chase him before it was even apparent that the perp's attempt was pathetic, so he still definitely has the spirit.

@Anthony-vh6ef You're mentally deficient buddy. Your life is your own responsibility, not anyone else's. No 2A advocate wants to be a cop. In fact, many of us hate cops.

In Katy near where my parents live, there was a boy walking his dog and his dog was hit and killed by a driver in a similar scenario who simply drove off. There are a shocking number of people who revert to being sociopaths when confronted with a mistake like this. They only care about the penalty they might face, and are too shortsighted to realize that it will only get worse because they tried to run and hide.

You have to be some kind of special moron to think that racism is the only defining feature of the National Socialist doctrine. People have been racist since they had the capacity to think.

The driver was clearly looking only right to watch for other cars. It's depressing how many drivers do this. Even in a residential neighborhood where people are constantly walking.

@jasoneaton9477 How about you look both ways before you apply gas to your 3000 pound projectile?

I hate dealing with texts and emails. The worst part about this is that legitimate companies are too ignorant or lazy to take simple steps to make their messages seem more legitimate; I have been nervous about clicking on links from completely legitimate messages a few times now.

@syfyserpent6465 No Neo-Nazis are. They're a pathetic shadow of their former selves, much like American communists are. They never adhere to the values that "real" Nazis would have enforced. Most of them are incentivized through pure contrarianism and spite towards a political or ethnic group. It's sort of like flat-earthers -- they don't care what is right or true, only that they get to feel like they are the "alternative underdog."

@Joseph-lr3lt That, much like Nazi Germany, was only a brief period of their history. That's much the same as suggesting that drinking wheat beer and eating sausage makes you a Nazi.
1
@jc71480 Probably because it never happened. He's thinking of the Zimmerman telegram, which occurred during WW1, not 2, and was completely irrelevant because Mexico was dealing with a revolution at the time, and was rejected by their government anyway. Mexico declared war on Germany in 1942 and even participated in combat. This was prompted by Germany sinking Mexican merchant vessels.

I have low vision and I can't see drivers in most vehicles. I have been a life long pedestrian. Cars are just emotionless machines to me. What's super frustrating to me is actually when I arrive at a crossing after or at the same time as a car, the crossing is clear, but the car stops and waits for me to cross. I would much rather the car go first so I don't have to worry about any traffic, and it's faster for both of us. I don't feel rushed. Every time I walk in front of a car, even when it is stopped, it feels like I'm going down range at a shooting range. I can't see the driver so I do not know their intentions or desires and any gestures are lost on me. I have been bumped by drivers stopped at intersections while I was directly in front of their car because they didn't look. Once it happened twice in a row at the same intersection. I have been nearly run over by drivers making entirely illegal turns at a busy intersection.

@donmiller2908 No one's auditing your behavior, you have the right to walk back into a store for any reason.

I am a visually impaired man who cannot drive and I've always gotten my groceries home by waiting outside the doors of the store and ordering a ride share. Maybe you could try this too.
