How about doing what everyone else does when they buy a new gun and RTFM? I'm an engineer and like many I find reading manuals tedious, but an exception has to be made for devices that can kill people when pointed the wrong way.

@mannys9130 When a product gets distributed at a retail outlet like Walmart, standards go out the window. Something else I've noticed; it's always easier to buy alcohol at a Walmart or other supermarket than it is a liquor store or even a convenience store.

Yeah I would have instinctively stepped back as soon as he started messing around with his gun like that. Actually I would have told him to stop and yelled so everyone had his attention on him in hopes he'd reconsider what he was doing, but if for some reason I had total confidence in his gun handling skills (pulling out his weapon like that would immediately take it away) I'd still have instinctively stepped back from the magic imaginary laser coming from the barrel of his gun.
