@Skelath There's a reason why you see SA rarely prosecuted and why the feminists complained so much about it in the 2010s: It is difficult to prove. Sure, this time there was a camera that captured the action clear as day. But imagine you were that guy, in that moment. Is it really smart to risk paying this dude's medical bills? Always apply the minimum amount of force necessary. That requires training which this guy didn't have. If he had a gun, I'm sure he would have used it; I've seen guns used in self-defense over less, when the person menacing the "victim" didn't even touch him. If you want to actually be prepared for situations like this, it requires more forethought than "I'm gonna destroy anyone who threatens people I love." You can accept that or reject that, but I hope you're at least rich and ready to pay for a lot of medical expenses and lawyers' fees.

@Wayne-x1h This is stupid, untrained behavior no matter how you slice it. This guy is strong but has no idea how to fight, so he applied the most extreme reaction he could come up with. Now he'll have to pay this guy's medical bills, hire a lawyer, show up to court, maybe even serve jail time. But hey, at least he has his "honor." I thought we were supposed to be the prudent smart people, not a bunch of medieval morons? A total lack of self-control is not manly. In fact, it is quite the opposite; a very feminine, emotional response. It just goes to show you should train in martial arts. That way, instead of doing what this guy did, you can apply a technique that disables this guy without guaranteeing a trip to the hospital.
