  1. My dad had the same philosophy when I was a kid and after I started carrying and training more with my own guns I realized it was stupid. I figure that statistically, if you are insane enough to invade a random person's home (I don't make enemies), you are probably insane enough to not be scared away by the sound of a pump action.

  3.  @alonjar  Well, I could also argue from the other side that anyone who thinks they'll shoot themselves while drawing out of a formfitting holster made for their gun isn't training correctly.

  4. Sadly, as a man I admit shoes like that are attractive, and because of that phenomenon women won't stop wearing them any time soon. Even though the frontal cortex in me wishes heels would go away.
