  2. "Hunt" isn't even the right word any more. They are a nuisance animal, like rabbits or locusts. I've seen videos of elaborate traps (giant pens, usually) to trap 40 or more at a time.

  3. I always thought that "Xmas" was an abbreviation because the X symbolized the cross. I knew well that it predated the modern "happy holidays" sentiment and had nothing to do with it, having seen it on old television programs that long predated the 90s, but sadly there are a few zealous-yet-ignorant people out there that believe that "Xmas" is some kind of PC term.
