  1. My mother is a very experienced teller. The only reason she never got promoted is because she does not want the extra hours and responsibility, because my father also works. She sees incompetence and poor procedure all the time among her coworkers, and she works for one of the biggest banks in the world (let alone the nation). I'm not surprised to see it happening at an independent credit union.

  2. ​@jagbrit3723 It's an idiotic take even as an American living in a state very loose on gun laws. Either one accepts that one lives in a society where carrying a gun is a right, and therefore, law-abiding citizens carry guns all the time, or one assumes the black guy is a criminal carrying a gun with malicious intent. In this case the gun is actually irrelevant to the situation. If one lives in a gun restrictive state, then one has already made leaps and bounds to assume this man fully intends to commit armed robbery for no other reason than he's black and has a slightly outdated check.
