  1. JazzKeyboardist1 "Amazon.com" is a website and "Amazon" is that website's company owner. Neither are misspelled or nonexistent. "Emanciptation" is a bad misspelling because it isn't just using the wrong letters to create a word pronounced the same way (i.e. rize versus rise), it's pronounced completely differently and creates a word that doesn't exist. The key here is giving an answer that verbally resembles the correct answer.

  2. JazzKeyboardist1 I mean, I am just stating the rules as they are in the show. If an answer is misspelled, it's only wrong if it's spelled such that it's mispronounced. Mispronunciations are also wrong; i.e., the man who said "Wimbleton" instead of "Wimbledon" had his answer retracted after the fact.
