@apaaaa Gee if only we could study the drug to know what effects it has on people and doctors could make intelligent recommendations or restrictions based on what other medication the patient is taking. Y'know, like all those drugs that say "don't drink while taking this."

There is some existing data that suggests that marijuana can aggravate existing psychoses, but as with almost everything involving marijuana, it desperately needs more study that governments refuse to provide or even allow the opportunity for because "weed scary." There certainly isn't enough data on it for a judge to bizarrely make some kind of medical diagnosis.

@saulgood2892 Those are people who have deep underlying problems that are using marijuana to cope with those problems. Marijuana isn't the source of their problems, I can virtually guarantee you that. Even with more addictive drugs, like alcohol, it is rarely the real reason behind their addiction problem. There's something else, beneath that, and the addiction is a meager coping mechanism.

@Blaze_x650 Tazers are notoriously unreliable. I don't get why everyone acts like resisting tazers is some kind of exceedingly rare thing. I've seen dudes resist tazers while sober during demonstrations. Some people just have fucked up nervous systems and it barely affects them. There's a reason why cops don't rely on them, and why they still have K9 detachments.
