When I was a teenager I had surgery and a nervous breakdown afterwards. Twenty years later I told this the anesthesiologist when another surgery was done and said I would like to wake up in a good mood. I don't know what he gave me, but I woke up happy and refreshed. It was amazing.

In the eighties (when my wisdom teeths were taken out) they gave only local anesthesia. Your cheeks were completely swollen for a week.

I always prefered soap and water. Way cheaper. I let the water rinse for a couple of seconds to make the soap bar and my hands wet, then stop the water. Running water makes me want to rush to save water. Then I stand in an upright position, because my sink and the tap are installed too low, and I would start to rush because of the uncomfortable position. From this moment on I don't have to sing, I don't have to count the seconds, I enjoy producing foam like a child, I enjoy the scent of the soap and the fact that there are lipids in the soap and my skin would not dry out as badly as by using sanitizer, I enjoy the fact of having healthy nerves and muscles, so my hands can do whatever I want them to do, and then I rinse everything off. Don't forget to use hand cream ! ♡
