  1. Muslims are told to imitate prophet Ibrahim "Hajj" pilgrimage. All the Hajj rituals resembles how the prophet and his family faith put to the test and how they trusted and surrendered themselves totally to God. The "kabba " black cube was the first house of God on earth. It was rebuilt by prophet Ibrahim together with his son Ishmael. Then he was commanded by God to invite people to Hajj. The ritual of sheep sacrificing resemble when Ibrahim at his old age saw repeated vision to sacrifice his only beloved son . He consulted his son who told him to surrender to God’s command. Some scholars say that "Shytan" the devil tried to advise Ibrahim not to follow God’s command so Ibrahim threw him with small pebbles " Gamarat". Pilgrims imitate this ritual not to follow the devil advice and to obey God. Later when Ibrahim and his son were about to do the sacrifice and showed their sincerity. God descended a sheep from heaven to sacrifice instead. Thus Muslims and pilgrims sacrifice sheep and share with the poor. Pilgrims after praying around Kabbah they do "Saee" which imitate the wife of Ibrahim Hajar who paced between the two mountains trying to find food for her crying baby. She was left alone with her baby in an empty desert and she trusted and surrendered to God. God sent angels to make water "zamzam water" burst under her babies feet. Later Arab tribes gathered there and paid her for the water"City of Mecca ".
