you'll find that the stretch is not all permanent, they'll relax a lot more given some time.

would be nice to see more australian made boots like blundstone, rossi, mongrel, i also wonder if the Australian made steel blues are any different to the ones you tested. i'd definitely prefer the redbacks over red wings in hot weather.

when you add water it's supposed to a few squirts from a spray bottle when the motor is hot. you can repeat after the motor has heated again. the dribble you added was too much and once it cooled the cylinder wasn't doing anything from there on in.

the large mishimoto clamp looks suspiciously like a norma heavy duty industrial clamp. as a former radiator repairer i'm not that fussed on what hose clamp i use for radiator and heater hoses they only hold 13 or 15psi typically. i prefer t bolt style for fuel tank filler and heat exchanger hose. spring clamps are only good for small vacuum hoses larger ones go in the scrap bin where they belong

just use phosphoric acid or even muriatic acid

wouldn't like to take my chances with a plastic ramp after it's gone brittle from uv damage.

i would consider all of these emergency pumps for cars. if you want a decent potable pump to use regularly you need to look at portable 4wd compressors

it's a no brainer buy a quality jerry can i have ones from the 50's still in use. they fit standard jerry can holders take up less space and they are easy to pour. you actually pour them on their side. even the spouts usually have a vent tube built into the side. usually i'd use a funnel or a syphon hose not the spout though.

don't use ethanol fuel in carburetor engines, especially small engines. it's hygroscopic and corrosive. and the octane drops the more water its absorbs

the old trick is to just use water to remove carbon

test trefolex next time it's probably the most widely used.

american grinders are different to Australian ones ours are 240v, come in 4" or 5" in the smaller sizes not 4.5". i'm not sure how well the tests translate to real world use, putting excess pressure is not the quickest or safest way to cut or grind so it's kind of like crashing a car through a brick wall to see how much power it has.

@phytonso9877 so you're ignorant then and wish to remain ignorant.

directional switch should be firm, being easy to switch is a disadvantage when working in tight confines or when holding the ratchet onto a fastener. nothing worse than a ratchet that keeps switching directions due to a hose, plastic panel etc touching it.
