  1. it's a no brainer buy a quality jerry can i have ones from the 50's still in use. they fit standard jerry can holders take up less space and they are easy to pour. you actually pour them on their side. even the spouts usually have a vent tube built into the side. usually i'd use a funnel or a syphon hose not the spout though.
