@Terranallias18 they would risk civil war in their own countries between left and right if they chose a side. i think the only countries that would take the leftists side in a us civil war would be enemies of usa.

@Terranallias18 that's another issue with nato the countries themselves are divided between left and right as well as the people in the countries, getting all to agree on a side to chose would likely take longer than the civil war would last. i think in a us civil war the left won't be classical liberal or liberal, the reason for the civil war kicking off is because the left have gone extreme left with political riots, corruption, breakdown of societal norms, unsecured borders, financial irresponsibility at this point in time they are more dangerous to the world in general than ever before.
