  1. i'm in n.s.w Australia on dec 15th my state removed all restrictions as they said they would when the vaccination target was met. the idea being everything that could be done was done and life must return to normal eventually. today dec 23 nsw has reintroduced checking in to retailers and they have said they will be sending out free test kits. anecdotal evidence suggest people are getting sick for 2 days and saying they feel well enough to return to work after 2 days but the current requirement is 10 days.

And they spread it just the same so they had super spreader cases where almost everyone in a venue caught covid. All restrictions were removed for everyone on Dec 15 apart from masks in hospitals and public transport. There's no reason for anyone to push segregation of unvaccinated people as there were only 347 total in hospital for covid and 45 in icu out of 40,000 known cases. NSW has about 640 beds per 100,000 people available for covid patients. So we are nowhere near capacity.

  29. i'm not any sort of doctor or scientist but when i was told it would stop infection and transmission i said i'll believe it when i see it. because i thought it was common knowledge that was something that had never been done before for a coronavirus. when people in authority said you won't get it twice if you're jabbed i said well that's not true for any other coronavirus, why is this one different. why were doctors so optimistic about the jabs, they believed any bs pfizer said.

  36. there's a big problem here and not just the covid aspect, why are these people paid if they don't do their job. Any other job you get paid to do it, and barring a valid reason to be absent if you don't do your job, you lose it. these people are elected and paid to listen to and act on these discussions that's their job, and even if they think the subject is pointless they're paid to hear all arguments for or against and decide what should be in the best interests of the voters they represent. notice i said voters not people, corporations, organizations or governments.
