  1. you should check out the xy falcon 4wd ute not a concept because they went into limited production. but basically ford and Jeep australia worked together to build a falcon ute it was a ford ute with the 4wd components from a jeep wagoneer. at the time Jeep was using the 6cyl ford straight 6 in the cj5 and cj6 as the buick v6 used in usa was unsupported in australia. funny that Jeep owned the tooling and rights to the buick v6 back then and sold it back to gm and eventually it became the 3.8l commodore v6. Jeep australia also built some cj6 overlander utes with a 110" wheelbase and ford i6 they were the first vehicle to cross the simpson desert east to west and marked the geographical centre of the simpson desert. they did the crossing during their east west australia crossing. there was only about 100 built and i'm lucky enough to own one of the few remaining which i'm restoring now.
