  1. the sea mammal would've been a humpback whale, the cliffs you were looking about are called the great australian bight and those cliffs go the whole length of the nullabor, with no way to get down. speed limit is 110kph you need to take extra water in case you break down or overheat the car because there is none and it's super hot in summer. servos are not too bad now at least every 200km. obviously you can't walk to the next one if you do break down. the nullabor has the longest stretch of straight road in Australia called the 90 mile straight and it is dead straight for 91 miles. the nullabor is pretty much flat and desolate the whole way that video pretty much showed every hill and tree on it.
