  1. the "air fryer" thing is just an electric frying pan, we still use one and you can still buy them. they're perfect for cooking pancakes, burgers, bacon and eggs etc etc.

  2. dot and the kangaroo must've been pretty big in the states too, because it still pops up in gen x groups with americans trying to find it but not remembering the name. most aussie kids shows had some scary stuff lifes not all pies and lamingtons.

  3. glucojel jelly beans are for diabetics when they get low blood sugar hypoglycemia) glucose is rapidly absorbed and is used by athletes too for quick energy. but of course kids love them too and they used to be about the only thing a kid would actually want from a pharmacy.

  4.  @theGhostWolfe  they've got all the fancy non stick on them now. ours is some sort of diamond pattern non stick, can just wipe it out and wash it up easy as.
