  1. i've travelled in the outback in 4wd's and on my bike and to give you an idea how remote some of it is i've travelled 500 miles on dirt roads and not passed a single vehicle and not seen another person until i got to a servo. i've crossed the simpson desert solo on my drz400e 500km 1200 sand dunes, no fuel no food, no water, no shops, no houses and only seen one other person in two days. the rfds is absolutely necessary there.
