  5. it's not the choice of weapon it's the ethics of how it's used. someone that misses a shot and wounds an animal that gets away is worse than someone that spears and kills an animal. if you wanted to argue someone that sticks a pig by hand is more "sure" of a kill.

  7. people that are removed from nature don't understand how violent even the smallest thing can be if harassed. And people will push other peoples buttons with the belief they aren't allowed to hurt them so they won't, and if they do it's a total shock.

  8. red belly black snake is more venomous than any north american snake. but he's right we see them as hardly anything to worry about venom wise and they're usually docile and not aggressive unless you're bothering it.

  10.  @ronniehopper2726  alligators are docile compared to saltwater crocs. the croc farmers here in aus say their alligators are ideal farm animals like cows compared to salties. in the wild a saltwater crocodile will actively hunt people territory doesn't even come into it you're prey.

  13. crocodiles run out of replacement teeth in old age then die. most don't live that long though, it's not easy being a crocodile. they live about 70yrs and can replace their teeth about 50 times.

  20. when i was about 5 i walked outside eating a bread roll, then i hear this "give us some bread" and i'm looking around for who said it and i see this australian raven sitting on the car i look at it and say's "bread" so i said sure and threw it half the bread roll it takes it and pisses off. of course nobody believes a word of it they're like oh it was just squawking. found out later ravens can only talk if you bifurcate their tongue (split it in half) so i'm guessing someone raised it bifurcated it's tongue and it learnt enough english to ask for bread.

  21. bait and switch is common in a lot of birds. wild ducks will lure my rooster away from the seed by getting excited over some imaginary food then run to the seed and shovel it down while the rooster is distracted. other birds do the same taking turns taunting the rooster while the others eat

  23. they're marsupials koalas are not bears. koalas aren't anywhere near functionally extinct. Australia has a cycle of cooler wetter years and then a cycle hot dry years. at the end of the dry cycle everything is bone dry it's hot and fires start and get out of control easily.
